RIMS/BUMPERS

BACKSIDE

Rim: Back/inside tire -Rim should be painted semi gloss black entirely, then the face only received the color.
Bumper:  - Typically had overspray from face color, with grey primer showing through.

FRONTSIDE

Rim/Bumper: SILBER WEISS "L82" (Silver White) This color was used on all rims and bumpers up into the late 60's
note: ribbed bumpers were painted silber weiss on the rib, and body color on the remaining area. All other years were solid weiss.

POWDER COATING
Although this is not correct, some people opt to go this route. It is suggested that the closest correct color should be either:
Traffic White (RAL 9016)
or
Signal White (RAL 9003)
I have not seen these colors, but I have heard they are a very close match
**update - i have been informed that Signal white seemed to be "too bright" **
